Positive Reviews
positive:
Terrific when traveling with pets
Like the other hotels in the La Quinta Group, this one is exceptionally pet friendly. Guests felt that both they and their pets were well looked after by the hotel, and that they were not given inferior rooms because they had a pet come along.
positive:
Convenient location near the I-69
Since most guests were driving in, they found the location, right by an exit on the I-69 very convenient. It meant that the hotel was very easy to find, and also that they could be on their way to their destination quickly, without having to negotiate busy city streets.
positive:
Friendly and engaged staff
While many guests commented that the staff were both welcoming and friendly, it seemed that it was their level of engagement that really impressed. They were said to take pride in both the physical aspects of the hotel as well as the service it offered.
Negative Reviews
negative:
A bit of noise from the I-69
Those in rooms facing the highway mentioned that they could easily hear the sound of the cars passing by. Light sleepers are advised to request a rear facing room.
negative:
Some problems with room assignments
A couple of guests mentioned that room assignments already agreed to in writing were not honored. This could have entailed a guest booking a room with a King size bed, only to be presented with a room with two Queen beds. Or alternatively, a group who had been assured they would be placed nearby each other, only to be scattered throughout the hotel. Guests felt that bookings and written agreements should be honored.
negative:
Breakfast room a little too small
While not mentioned by many, it seems that when the hotel is full there is not enough seating in the breakfast room to accommodate all guests.
