Hotel La Quinta by Wyndham Columbus - Grove City (Grove City, USA)

Several guests said that the hotel was well placed when it came to accessing local amenities. Shopping and dining were singled out, with guests saying that these two needs could easily be met, with a very good variety of shops and restaurants to choose from nearby.

The hotel was in the midst of major renovations as of May 2016. Guests staying in rooms that had already been completed not only loved the “new room smell”, but also felt that the decor and design was very well done.

Most guests loved staying so close to the interstate. It seemed it was the reason many booked at this hotel. They explained that it was very easy to access the highway, and allowed them to get on their way to their destination without first having to negotiate busy city streets.

Guests staying as late as May 2016 mentioned that the hotel was still very much the scene of a major renovation. This seemed to cause a few problems, from construction noise starting a bit too early for some to problems with the parking out front.

Though not mentioned often, it was reported that the beds were quite high off the ground and the toilet seats quite close to the ground, at least in the regular rooms. Some felt that these would cause issues for those with some mobility problems.

It was mentioned that the on-site guest laundry was quite expensive, certainly much more expensive than other laundries in the area would charge. It was felt that the hotel guests were being taken advantage of.
