Positive Reviews
positive:
Attractively decorated and furnished
It appears that the hotel has been renovated fairly recently. Several guests seemed to have noticed, and said that they approved of the design used. They found it to be chic and modern and gave them the impression they were checking-in at a stylish hotel.
positive:
Waffles as big as Texas
Well, not actually as big as the Lone Star State, but big and in its distinctive shape. But the waffles were only one of a variety of foods available at a breakfast that most guests really seemed to enjoy. The hot items and Mexican options seemed to be especially popular.
positive:
Friendly and courteous staff
Again and again guests would compliment the hotel's staff. They were described as incredibly friendly and displayed a level of courtesy and professionalism that many felt was hard to find nowadays.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Rooms not ready on time
An astonishing number of guests mentioned that their room was not ready for occupation at the stated check-in time. While it understandable if this happens once or twice, there were so many such accounts that it appears there are simply not enough housekeeping staff to clean the rooms and have them ready in the allotted time.
negative:
Disturbed by barking dogs
Like most La Quinta hotels, this one is very pet-friendly. This was fantastic for dog owners, but others were not so happy. Several guests mentioned being disturbed by barking dogs when they really would have liked a bit of peace and quiet.
negative:
Poor Wi-Fi
Like at many hotels, the Wi-Fi here was said to be quite poor. Guests speak about it being unreliable, with a connection sometimes difficult to obtain. But even when connected it was said to be too slow to properly run many apps.
