Again and again guests would mention that the staff at the hotel, especially at reception, couldn't be more approachable and helpful. They were also said to be very professional, and guests were confident that any issue raised with them would get due attention.

The La Quinta group has a reputation for being pet-friendly, and its Bozeman hotel was no exception. Guests felt that their dog was genuinely welcome to stay, rather than merely being tolerated. Pet owners also didn't feel that they were given inferior rooms.

Guests liked the hotel's location right by the interstate exit. They found it very convenient to be able to quickly get onto the freeway and head off to their destination.

Guests traveling in the winter reported that the indoor pool simply wasn't sufficiently heated to allow them to swim in comfort. Since many had been looking forward to using the pool during their stay this was a major disappointment.

While not often mentioned, a couple of guests pointed out that the hotel is near a major railway line. They found that the sound of the freight trains going by could easily be heard. Light sleepers found it a bit difficult to sleep as a result.

While not a universal complaint, a fair number of guests did find that their room wasn't cleaned to an acceptable standard before they checked in. Hairs on the bed sheets and unemptied wastebaskets were two of the complaints. In the end, some guests had to do a bit of their own spot cleaning before feeling comfortable in the room.
