Hotel La Quinta by Wyndham Atlanta South - Newnan (Newnan, USA)

There is something of a restaurant precinct right across the road that contains a huge number of national restaurant franchises. Guests felt they were spoiled for choice since they could never possibly exhaust all the possibilities, even if staying for a number of days.

A number of guests reported that their rooms were very quiet - throughout the day, though it was really appreciated at night. Considering the hotel is close to the interstate, they had perhaps been expecting some road noise. It seems, however, that the rooms are very well soundproofed.

Perhaps due to previous disappointments at other hotels, several guests went out of their way to compliment the hotel for their Wi-Fi system. There were no real complaints, and guests said that they didn't have any trouble establishing a connection or obtaining the speed necessary for their purposes.

While there were indications as late as April 2016 of ongoing renovations, it seems that there are still many rooms that remain unrenovated. Some guests assigned one of these rooms were less than thrilled, and felt that they were in a bit of a sub-standard room where everything looked old and in need of replacing.

While many conceded that it was “free”, or rather included in the room-rate, and so they felt they couldn't complain too much, most felt that the breakfast was just a bit too basic, with a very limited variety of foods on offer.

Many guests commented that they felt the carpets, especially in the hallways, were simply not clean. They believed they needed a thorough industrial cleaning to be returned to an acceptable state.
