Hotel La Quinta by Wyndham Atlanta Douglasville (Douglasville, USA)

It was the hotel's location, right near the highway and a variety of shopping and amenities, that most impressed guests during their stay. They said it was easy to find the hotel and that all the dining and shopping facilities they needed were at most a short drive away.

A surprising number of guests commented on just how quiet their rooms were at night, apart from the odd dog barking. They had perhaps expected noise from the nearby interstate, but were pleasantly surprised to find they could not hear the traffic noise when in their room.

A couple of guests mentioned that the hotel subscribes to a decent cable package with a large number of channels, and that the variety on offer insures that all but the most jaded TV watcher could find something they'd enjoy watching.

A couple of guests mentioned that there simply were not enough parking bays available for the number of guests accommodated. The bays are not assigned, so at times this created a mad scramble for a parking bay when a free one happened to open up.

Going by guest comments, the hotel is exceptionally pet-friendly and allows clean and well behaved dogs. Unfortunately, no matter how well-behaved, dogs bark. Sometimes early in the morning when others are trying to sleep. A couple of guests mentioned that they were woken up by the sound of dogs barking, rather than their own alarm clock.

Guests staying for more than a day or two quickly tired of the breakfast. It was described as fairly basic, often having just one hot food available and it being repeated day after day.
