Positive Reviews
positive:
Amazing pool area
It was undoubtedly the pool area that most impressed guests when staying at the hotel. “Amazing”, “fantastic” and other such superlatives were often used when describing it. It seems that guests regarded it as especially beautiful and enjoyed spending much of the day in and around it.
positive:
Pleasant and friendly staff
It was rare to read a review that did not praise the hotel’s staff in some way. Guests found that they offered a warm welcome on arrival, and seemed to have the sort of pleasant and friendly attitude that made them easy to approach when guests needed information or assistance.
positive:
Very comfortable beds
Quite a few guests went out of their way to comment on how comfortable the beds were. Considering the lack of complaints, it sees reasonable to conclude that the mattresses used have truly broad appeal.
Negative Reviews
negative:
A little too remote for some
The hotel is not on the beach, or close to the popular areas of Alicante. While most knew this when booking, not all did and some were unhappy about having to drive some way to get to the beach and other popular areas of the city.
negative:
Breakfast could be disappointing
Quite a number of guests were disappointed with the breakfast. It wasn’t that there was not enough food, or enough of a variety, but rather that individual dishes were often not properly prepared. The scrambled eggs being overdone was a fairly typical complaint.
negative:
Spa treatments often fully booked
An extraordinary number of guests reported being unable to book a massage or other treatment for the time slot they wanted. It seems that many others book their treatments before arriving and the schedule can get fully booked in no time at all, leaving some with tense muscles and no treatment available.
