Positive Reviews
positive:
Very professional and helpful staff
Going through the reviews, there’s no doubt that it was the attitude and behaviour of the staff that most impressed guests during their stay. Again and again they reported that the staff were discrete, professional and very efficient when carrying out their duties.
positive:
Extremely comfortable beds
Guests were clearly very happy with the beds. They were repeatedly described as being very comfortable. Since there really weren’t any complaints to speak of, it seems that the hotel has managed to select a mattress with very broad appeal.
positive:
The 24 hour room service
The hotel does not have a café or restaurant, but does offer 24 hour room service that includes alcoholic drinks. In general guests were very happy with this service, saying that delivery was swift and that the food was perfectly fine.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Guests booking this hotel by mistake
It seems a number of guests booked this hotel by mistake, not knowing that it was a love hotel. While they seemed to take this in good humour, they did mention that facilities and level of discretion offered by the hotel was not really suitable for those who simply needed a room for a regular trip to Barcelona.
negative:
Rooms without natural light
A number of guests complained that their room did not have any windows, and so no natural light. While this may have been fine for a very short stay, those staying longer seemed to find the gloom a little depressing and oppressive.
negative:
Rooms can get very hot
A worrying number of guests reported that their room got uncomfortably hot during their stay. Many complained that the air conditioning simply didn’t do a good enough job to keep the room cool.
