Hotel La Divina by Aldea Thai (Playa del Carmen, Mexico)

Well laden with Thai-themed décor, the beautiful rooms in this hotel are worth giving it a shot. You will also be able to take in the scenic view of the ocean from the hotel, whether you’re on the rooftop terrace or on the balcony of your room.

While the front desk is open for select hours, the customer service is awesome. The staff members, especially Renee and Rocio, will be sure to attend to your requests and issues in a timely manner. You also want to know the hotel’s rooftop is home to a terrific private pool with multiple seating areas, so you can unwind as you soak up the sun after a good swim.

Only a block away, you are close to one of the best places in Playa, Mamitas Beach Club, which serves great breakfast and lunch options. Just around the corner is 5th Avenue, a street that boasts great shopping and restaurants.

Unfortunately, despite the beach sitting within 100 yards of the guesthouse, you will not have access to it.

Considering the hotel is located right next to a busy beach club, Mamitas, you might want to carry your ear plugs. There is lots of partying that go on here until the wee morning hours.

Some guests have reported of loud air conditioning units that sometimes have gone out unexpectedly.
