A simple continental breakfast is available every morning right at the hotel. Reception staff will be able to offer some great local restaurant recommendations for the other two meals.
With its great central location, Hotel La Casona Real is only 600 yards from the ferry terminal and 1.4 miles from Cozumel Airport.

Unbeatable central position
Guests really liked the location of the hotel. Those staying here had clearly not come to Cozumel to sit at one of its all inclusive resorts, but for other purposes. They felt that the location close to downtown, the airport and ferry terminal was perfect for these purposes.

Excellent value for money
The overwhelming majority of guests felt that they had received excellent value for money during their stay. For a start, they regarded the room rate as being very low. Adding in the fact that the hotel was very conveniently situated and provided decent accommodation, the conclusion of excellent value was inescapable.

Great free on-street parking
A surprising number of guests mentioned that they left their hire car parked on the nearby streets, were parking is free of charge, and were pleased to find that this presented no problems at all in terms of theft or damage.

Breakfast a little disappointing
There really weren’t any compliments to speak of when it came to the hotel’s breakfast. About the best that was said about it was that it was “OK”, but many felt that it was too basic to really bother with, preferring instead to take their breakfast at a café or restaurant nearby.

Some rooms very noisy
Guest’s allocated rooms facing the street complained that they were quite noisy. The location of the hotel is quite central, which of course means a lot of pedestrian and motorised traffic on the streets down below. They reported that this could get quite loud and seems to have affected some guest’s sleep.

Poor Wi-Fi
There were far too many guests for comfort reporting problems with the hotel’s Wi-Fi system. Lack of reliability and difficulty logging on seemed to be the most common problems.
