Positive Reviews
positive:
You'll dance the night away.
The biggest attraction at Hotel Piccadilly is their huge, air conditioned ballroom, where many classes and events are held. Guests who took a "dancing holiday" there had great fun, especially with the aid of the knowledgeable dance instructors on staff. Those that held or attended events in the ballroom were equally pleased.
positive:
The restaurant is a real gem.
Nearly every review had nice things to say about their dining experience. The breakfast in the morning is delicious, with a wide selection of items and comfortable atmosphere. Guests who chose to stay for dinner were not disappointed. They were impressed by the expert preparation of every part of their meal.
positive:
Their customer service is excellent.
Nothing is too much trouble for the staff at Hotel Piccadilly. Guests were happy to report that everyone they encountered all but bent over backwards to make sure every aspect of their stay was exceptional. They were also quite helpful with directions and recommendations of things to do in the area.
Negative Reviews
negative:
It’s getting a little shabby.
Many guests reported that the hotel is starting to look a bit worn down. All over the property they found worn furniture, cracks in the paint, tired fixtures, a peeling varnish. Generally guests had positive experiences at Hotel Piccadilly, and so it was a disappointment to them that they had this seemingly unnecessary detraction to their stay.
negative:
The Wi-Fi is unreliable.
Though the hotel offers free Wi-Fi, many guests had an undue amount of trouble getting connected to it. Some guests reported that the signal did not reach more than a few feet beyond the reception desk. Tech savvy guests, aware that this problem could be fixed with just a few inexpensive repeaters, were particularly annoyed by this shortcoming.
negative:
It can get a bit loud.
The hotel is located on a busy street, and guests who had rooms towards the front found the noise level obnoxious, at least when the windows were open.
