Positive Reviews
positive:
Terrific beachfront position
This was perhaps what guests most appreciated about Khayam Hammamet. The hotel's pool was said to be almost an extension of the Mediterranean beyond, and guests were very happy that the object of their travels, the beach, was quite literally just steps away.
positive:
Very good animation team
Again and again guests expressed their admiration for the hotel's animation team. They were said to be exceptionally hard working, and seemed to have the ability to really engage the crowds. Also mentioned was that there were good entertainment options for children and adults alike, a balance often missing at resorts.
positive:
Excellent pools and terrace
Quite a few guests went out of their way to highlight just how great the pool area was. It was said to be very large, with enough sun beds and other amenities for all. Also mentioned was that there were pools for all ages, so parents didn't need to worry too much about their children by the adult pool.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Very little variety in the restaurants
This was surprisingly common complaint. While the food was generally judged as being OK, many guests found that it was more or less the same thing day after day. Of course those staying for a week or longer quickly got bored with what was on offer.
negative:
Some questions concerning cleanliness
While not a universal sentiment, there were perhaps too many complaints about dirty rooms to be ignored. Quite a few guests said that their room was simply not properly cleaned when they first arrived. They described the cleaning as a bit slapdash.
negative:
Beds pushed together to make a double
Unfortunately the perennial problem of two single beds pushed together to make a double did pop up a couple of times. Guests maintained that they booked an actual double, only to be presented with something completely different.
