Hotel Kastro Suites (Fira, Greece)

All of the Kasrto Suites have a fantastic view over the Aegean Sea at the volcano and the caldera on which the suites are situated. You can enjoy the sunset from the plunge pool and terrace area right outside your room. The undeveloped hills of Fira are also visible from some parts of the hotel.

The hotel itself is located on the hillside with beautiful views and it is close to many restaurants, shops and bars which you can easily walk to. There are also donkeys available to carry you, your luggage or shopping bags up and down for you.

The staff members at the hotel are very warm and welcoming. You are greeted with a smile upon arrival and throughout your stay. The staff will happily help you to make your reservations and rentals for cars and motorbikes. Nothing is too much trouble.

Some of the guest rooms at the Kastro Suites are a little outdated and could do with a revamp. A fresh paint of the walls and some modern furniture will make the hotel worth the money you pay for it.

Some guests found that their rooms were located close to a footpath with stairs which was quite noisy as people and donkeys travelled up and down them from early morning until late afternoon. The noise of chairs being pulled in and out at the restaurant is quite audible from some guest rooms.

So far, no recent negative opinion has been expressed by guests about this hotel.
