Hotel Julian Forest Suites (Icmeler, Turkey)

The rooms are cleaned daily and there is a high standard of housekeeping here, much to the satisfaction of the guests, who also appreciate the fact that the rooms are very spacious. Given that this is a family-friendly location, the added space is a boon when travelling with children.

The entertainment staff are excellent here and keep the guests entertained all day long, especially the children. The entertainment is described by one guest as ‘varied, fresh and in abundance’. The entertainment team is also credited with creating a relaxed and happy atmosphere in the resort.

The forest location is very much appreciated and the resort is less than three km from the beach. The resort operates a complimentary shuttle to the beach. The place is pretty much self-contained and there isn’t any need to go out if a guest doesn’t want to. But in case they do, the resort is well connected by public transport to Icmeler and Marmaris.

The wasps are a bit of a nuisance here, being stinging insects. However, guests have pointed out that wasps in Turkey are nothing like the wasps in the UK, they are much smaller, make very little noise and hardly ever sting. And even if they do, it’s not too bad.

If you are interested in wild and crazy nightlife, then this is certainly not the place for you. It’s probably better not come at all. This place is all about scenery, natural beauty, and fun, family times.
