The reception at the Jerusalem Castle Hotel is open 24 hours, and can facilitate laundry and basic business services. The hotel has its own small private garden and Wi-Fi is available throughout.
There are no dining facilities at the hotel, but staff will be happy to recommend good places nearby, though many guests should be aware that many places close for the Sabbath.

Positive Reviews
positive:
Quiet location, but still close to attractions
The hotel is a bit to the west of the Old City, but quite close to the museum complex. Both are within walking distance, and guests are pleased that they are in a very convenient location, but still in a quiet and peaceful environment.
positive:
Very kind and helpful staff
Again and again guests comment that the staff couldn't be more friendly and accommodating. Not only with respect to practical matters concerning the hotel, but also by helping them make the most of the city beyond with recommendations and advice.
positive:
Very welcome air conditioning
Guests understood that they were in a somewhat budget hotel, where amenities are sometimes thin on the ground, and were very pleased to find that their rooms contained air conditioners rather than just fans. They were very welcome after a long day in the Jerusalem heat.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Difficult parking in the area
Several guests comment that it is very difficult to find parking near the hotel. The neighbourhood, while quiet, is still very central, so street parking is at a premium. Motorists should look into finding a nearby parking garage.
negative:
No food available on-site
The Jerusalem Castle does not have a restaurant on-site. Some guests were a bit disappointed that they had to leave the hotel to eat, even if they just wanted a quick breakfast or snack.
negative:
Some rooms very small
While not a universal complaint, a fair number of guests complain that their room was extremely small, much smaller than they had expected. It seems that rooms in the same class differ in size, which some found a bit unfair.
