Guests were pleased to find that their rooms were tastefully decorated in neutral colors and wooden flooring. The furniture and upholstery were said to be of good quality whilst the size of the room exceeded the expectations of many. The bathrooms were also described as modern and spacious with separate walk-in showers and up-to-date fixtures and fittings.

The outdoor-pool proved popular with many guests who said that it was clean and of decent size whilst the surrounding pool area was also said to be well-presented. Those who used the fitness center said that it was modern and clean with a wide range of up-to-date equipment.

The hotel is a short walk away from many of the town's attractions including the stadium and the local shopping area. Guests who wanted to sample the local bars and restaurants were pleased to find plenty of amenities on their doorstep. Baylor University is also a short drive away from the hotel which suited many guests who came here to attend meetings and seminars.

Some guests mentioned that they felt rather unsafe walking back to the hotel in the evenings as it is located next door to a homeless shelter. Having to worry about their surroundings and safety prevented some from fully enjoying their stay.

Those who wanted to connect to the internet from their rooms were disappointed to find that the Wi-Fi signal was rather weak and intermittent which meant that guests had to log on several times.

Guests mentioned that they were disturbed by footsteps from the rooms above them due to the wooden floors. Others remarked that they were woken up by the sounds of the train as there are tracks that run close to the hotel.
