Hotel Indigo Miami Lakes (Miami Lakes, USA)

The hotel is surrounded by palm trees and exotic plants and has been described as an oasis of peace and tranquillity. Guests enjoyed the stunning views of the nearby golf-course as well as being able to sit out in the private courtyard in the pleasant shade of the trees. If you are looking for somewhere to recharge your batteries and get away from busy city life then you certainly won’t be disappointed.

Guests were pleased to find that they were within walking distance of numerous cafes, bars and restaurants. Keen golfers found it convenient having a course literally on their doorstep whilst those who wanted to visit the local shops found it handy being a short drive away from popular retail malls such as the Sawgrass Outlet.

All the members of staff at the hotel have been complimented for their genuine friendly and courteous manner. Guests appreciated the swift check-in process and said that the front-desk personnel offered then useful advice about where to dine and what to see in the area. The waiting staff were also praised for being professional and attentive.

Some guests said that the en-suites were quite small and cramped with only a shower cubicle and no bath-tub. Quite a few objected to the lack of shelf space where guests could place their toiletries.

The walls have been described as being quite thin as guests said they were able to hear conversations and televisions from the adjoining rooms.

Several maintenance problems were brought up by the guests ranging from faulty air-conditioning units through to loose toilet seats and broken pieces of furniture. Guests who reported the issues to staff said they were resolved effectively.
