This hotel's location is undoubtedly the feather in its cap. In addition to being within an easy five-minute walk of the nearest metro station, it has loads of 24-hour stores in the local vicinity as well as a plethora of restaurants, fast-food outlets and shops pretty much right on the doorstep. TOP TIP: many of the ramen shops in this area are outstanding!
In addition to bath towels, face towels, toothbrush & toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner and body soap, every guest here gets a pair of slippers and a rather fetching yukata (Japanese bathrobe), absolutely free. Not bad.
It may not be free but it has to be said that the breakfast buffet proffered here affords a great deal of variety, with plenty in the way of both Japanese and Western options to choose from. It's surprisingly cheap, too.
The fact that this hotel lies at the intersection of two busy roads and has paper-thin walls means there are times when you cannot help but be disturbed by noise made elsewhere. Light sleepers would do well to pack some good quality ear plugs in their luggage.
At the moment, this property only affords free Wi-Fi in the lobby area. It seems odd that a hotel in such a technically advanced nation as Japan would be unable (or unwilling) to provide Wi-Fi in all of its rooms.
Many guests have commented on the rather dated and faded appearance of the guest rooms and bathrooms. Time for a strategic refurb perhaps..?
