Positive Reviews
positive:
Highly convenient location
As well as being surrounded on all sides by 24-hour stores, restaurants and cafes, this hotel is within very easy striking distance of the shopping opportunities of Shinsaibashi and the bustling nightlife of Dotonbori. On top of that, it's a mere five-minute walk from a train station (Namba) which has a direct link to Kansai Airport. Highly convenient.
positive:
Many rooms afford great views
Being a relatively large high-rise means many of the accommodations here are blessed with decent views of the city. If you can swing a room on one of the upper floors then you'll be treated to a pretty spectacular night time vista each evening after the sun goes down.
positive:
Reception team run a very tight ship
You'll love this place if you're one of those travellers who cannot abide convoluted check-in processes: the team at this hotel's reception get visitors in and out in no time at all. Impressive (and most welcome).
Negative Reviews

Noisy surroundings can be an issue
The traffic on the roads around the hotel can be intensely busy at times (be VERY careful when crossing the street). Unfortunately, this means that the sound of screeching brakes and tooting horns often filters into the rooms above. Ear plugs are definitely recommended if you're a light sleeper.
negative:
Accommodations look a little dated
Numerous visitors have been less-than-impressed by the rather tired looking state of some of the guest rooms. Stained and worn carpets were the biggest gripe.
negative:
Economy rooms aren't so great for couples
If you're travelling as part of a twosome then do yourself a favour and opt for something other than an economy room - they're so small they have to have the double-bed pushed right into the corner, flush against the walls...
