Hôtel De L'octroi (Carcassonne, France)

Guests were very impressed at the very short distance required to walk to Carcassonne’s medieval walled city, ‘La Cité’, making it easy to spend plenty of time there, but found the hotel close enough to also walk to the ‘new town’.

The rooms at Logis L'Octroi Cité Médiévale were found to be modern, with bright decor, clean and comfortable interiors, full facilities and efficient air conditioning, and the pool — although too small to do laps in — was pleasant on hot days.

Those who ate there found the hotel breakfast to be very nice, with everything made from local produce. However, since many found it to be an expensive extra, others chose to eat out in La Cité.

A few guests who stayed at Logis L'Octroi Cité Médiévale mentioned that the Wi-Fi was a bit hit and miss, and the were rooms sometimes a little small for their liking, but these points did not do too much to dampen guests’ enthusiasm about staying.
