This hotel is just a short drive from some of the most stunning scenery the area has to offer. Then there's the mountain zoo and Pikes Peak to visit while the action of downtown Colorado is just a stone's throw away.

The rooms at the hotel are beyond the expectations of many of the guests that stay here. They feel that the room rate represents great value for money as there are great amenities both in the room and the hotel. They are impressed by the pool and the gym, and free parking is a real bonus.

The staff at this hotel from the front desk through to the bartenders know exactly how to treat their guests. They are professional and friendly and are willing to help out especially with some local advice on seeing the sights.

If staying at this hotel then it would be best to ask for a room that is away from the highway as the traffic noise continues throughout the night. The windows don't seem to be soundproofed so you may have to pack your earplugs just in case.

When first built this hotel must have been pretty good but as the years have gone by the place has started to show the signs of age. There are more than a few maintenance issues throughout the building, and the rooms are starting to look a bit shabby in places.

Some guests feel that the rooms smell like they have never been aired properly. They think that this may be a mildew problem and that the cleaning staff need to be more alert.
