Positive Reviews
positive:
A very convenient position
Hyatt Arlington is in a good location. There are a number of nice restaurants in the immediate area and it is just a ten-minute walk to Georgetown. If you want to travel further afield than the immediate vicinity, there is a metro station just a block away.
positive:
A warm welcome
Staff at this hotel are really friendly and attentive. They will greet you warmly upon first arrival and will make you feel like a valued guest throughout your stay. If you need some information about the local area, or have an issue you need to raise, you'll find them to be approachable, knowledgeable and professional.
positive:
Good amenities
Guestrooms at this hotel are comfortable. There is a desk if you need to do some work and plenty of TV channels from which to choose if you just want to relax. Everything is very clean as well, both in private rooms and in public areas. The fitness center is decent as well, if you feel like working out.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Extra expenses
If you are bringing your car to Hyatt Arlington then, be warned, you'll have to pay for parking and it doesn't come especially cheap either. Also, breakfast is fairly pricey. While it offers a good selection of items, it's still rather costly.
negative:
Sounds to keep you awake
Things can get a little noisy from the outside, due to the hotel being on the flight path and close to a busy road. As well as these external noises, the air-conditioning is quite loud.
negative:
Not always easy to connect
The Wi-Fi connection is reasonable, but it sometimes drops out or is rather slow, especially in some of the guestrooms. In the lobby it's generally okay.
