Hotei-An is a fully renovated traditional Kyoto house that has stood for over 100 years, and offers self-catering accommodation along a quiet road just a minute’s walk from Tofukuji station (one stop away from Kyoto station). There is a Japanese-style Tatami room with a sunken kotatsu (a low table over a hole in the floor), a Wooden Floor living room with comfortable furniture, and a small Japanese garden. Accommodation consists of a Tatami bedroom with futons and space for 4 guests, and a Wooden Floor bedroom with 2 beds and a sofa-bed. Kitchen facilities are provided and include a fridge-freezer, microwave, rice cooker, washing machine/dryer, tea & coffee, and all cookware and crockery. The bathroom comes with a separate bath tub and shower as well as all toiletries and towels, while air conditioning, underfloor heating and free Wi-Fi are also provided. Direct phones connect guests to a member of staff 7 days a week if required.
