Positive Reviews
positive:
Extremely close to the water.
If you're looking to soak up sun and surf during your Thai vacation, Honey Resort is the perfect venue. It's located just a short walk from Kata Beach, and its on-site swimming pool provides another alternative for relaxation and private tanning, if that's more your style.
positive:
Welcoming employees.
The staff at Honey Resort takes pride in assisting you and supporting any plans you might have, ranging from car rentals to ticketing in the local area. They're approachable and friendly for any issue, and do a fantastic job of cleaning and sprucing up rooms between guests.
positive:
Very affordable.
Thailand traditionally has cheaper prices for its hotel stays, and Honey Resort is no exception. The cost to stay here is much lower than some other properties in the area, and it provides a great blend of value, comfort, and luxury that you'd be hard-pressed to find, especially with access to the beach.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Surcharges on Wi-Fi.
The Wi-Fi at Honey Resort is charged per hour, and while the rate is quite low, it can add up if your entire family is using the wireless services and fails to turn off Wi-Fi access within an allotted period of time.
negative:
Noise concerns.
Aside from occasional construction occurring around the hotel, there are also sometimes distractions in the form of sound leaking through walls or into the rooms through balcony areas. If you're a light sleeper, this could keep you awake longer than you'd like.
negative:
Limited room amenities.
The rooms are designed to provide a mix of monetary value and features, so don't be surprised if the televisions have less channels than you might expect, or if you lack things such as a mini-bar or machines to make tea and coffee.
