Very clean, contemporary rooms...
Many guests "feel right at home" in the modern, roomy suites, which feature comfortable beds and well equipped, functional kitchens. Young families particularly love the space and flexibility offered by the one-bedroom and two-bedroom layouts. Travellers assigned rooms on the higher floors enjoy an exceptional view of the sparkling Atlantic Ocean.

A warm welcome to Halifax...
The front desk staff have received many rave reviews for their friendly and professional customer service. Guests comment that they are pleased to share their knowledge of the city. Compliments also go to the chef for the wide variety of hot, fresh food at the breakfast buffet, and the evening social hour is much appreciated as well.
positive:
A good location for exercise...
Guests love being able to walk to all of the attractions in downtown Halifax, including the shops along Spring Garden Road, the museums, harbour front, and the Public Gardens; however, tired travellers warn that the city is built on a steep hill, so taking a cab home is best if you're at all weak in the knees.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Parking is an issue...
Drivers warn that the on site parking is limited, and the closest garage is located across a busy road. Though the rate is one of the lowest in the area, parking is a bit of a pricey challenge throughout the city.
negative:
Big crowd, small pool...
Guests have noted the pool is popular with kids, and it can become crowded. The breakfast area can also become a bit "chaotic" during the busiest hours as well.
negative:
Unresolved issues...
Though the staff receive many positive reviews, guests hoping for some sort of compensation have been disappointed to receive an indifferent response to their frustrations with parking, housekeeping concerns, or similar issues.
