Positive Reviews
positive:
Superb location
Hilton Panama is a modern, well-designed hotel with the bonus of a casino attached. It’s right in the city with easy access to shopping, restaurants and tourist attractions and is well located for business trips. In addition to these conveniences, it overlooks Panama Bay so you have fantastic views of both the city and sea from both common areas and many guestrooms.
positive:
Great pool and facilities
The hotel’s outdoor pool has stunning views of the ocean. It’s a great spot to hang out and relax with pleasant staff and a fun pool bar. The other hotel facilities are also excellent too, including a large, well-equipped fitness center. Another bonus, the oceanfront walkway is steps away and is a great option for walking or jogging.
positive:
Beautiful, comfortable rooms
Rooms are modern and stylish with large bathrooms and comfortable beds. At booking, request an ocean view room on a higher floor; it’s well worth it for the spectacular city and sea views.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Average dining experience
The restaurant and bar service is rather poor. The restaurants are also rather pricey for the quality of food they serve (including breakfast if you don’t have it included with your package) and options if you have dietary restrictions are somewhat limited. Finally, room service is slow to arrive and the food is very average.
negative:
Poorly stocked rooms
Housekeeping doesn’t properly restock the minibar without being asked. You’ll need to request refills for coffee and creamer regularly also, there never seems to be enough. Additionally, there are no robes or slippers, which you’d expect from a hotel of this caliber.
negative:
Customer service lacking
The front desk at Hilton Panama is slow to check you in and out. Also, they often seem to mix up reservations somehow and take ages to sort it out.
