The hotel has a great location to get to all the best cultural attractions in the area. It is located only one mile from the National Mall and Pentagon City is within easy walking distance. From the hotel, guests can also walk to numerous restaurants, businesses, and shops.

This is an easy and central location for all types of travelers. The hotel is just off the highway and close to I-395. It's a quick trip from Union Station and rail service. The airport is an easy drive and complimentary shuttle service is offered.

The room are undergoing renovation and the new rooms are quite nice with new fittings and fixtures. Overall, all the rooms are comfortable and functional. The staff is friendly and the free breakfast makes a nice topping on the deal.

Not all rooms give the same experience
While the updated rooms are nice, the older rooms are not as pleasant. Those rooms smell musty and have stained carpeting. The furniture is out of date and looks tired. Also, many of those bathrooms have leaks and broken features.

The hotel is quite busy and that business means a lack of great customer service. There are frequent billing and computer problems that take many calls to fix. Also, while at the hotel, concerns or issues likely won't receive any action from staff or management.

The property is in the midst of a long construction process. This means many amenities, like the pool and whirlpool, are not available. While the hotel is staying open, many hallways and other areas have the signs and sounds of work underway, rather than a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.
