Many guests were attending events on the New Mexico University campus. To this end, they found the hotel’s location to be superb, being just a few hundred yards away.

These two amenities were undoubtedly guests’ favorites. They liked both the design and setting of the pool, and of course the ability to either take a refreshing dip in the pool or soak away the day’s stress in the hot tub.

A number of guests mentioned the in-room Keurig coffee machines, saying that they brewed a great cup of Joe, and could even deliver hot water for other drinks if required.

This was perhaps the most common, and most serious, complaint. Guests mentioned that they could easily hear the noise of cars and trucks speeding by on the interstate. Light sleepers were particularly affected, with many finding it hard to get a good night’s rest.

A worrying number of guests mentioned unauthorized charges being made to their cards, on check in and at other times. Of course they were very unhappy about these and didn’t welcome the fact that they now had to fight with the hotel and credit card company to get the charges reversed.

Guests were really not happy with the breakfast in general. For a start, unlike many other hotels in this category, it was not free. After paying the required fee, guests were generally unhappy with the quality and the variety of the food offered, saying it was poor value.
