Positive Reviews
positive:
The Rooms Are Clean
Guests usually immediately noticed that their rooms were very tidily presented upon check-in and were cleaned well by the housekeeping staff. If you have stayed in too many hotels that don't take pride in cleanliness, you won't likely notice that same problem at this property.
positive:
Convenient to the UND Campus
If you're coming to the area for something related to an event at the University of North Dakota, this hotel is ideal for you. It's close enough to walk to the campus. Plus, if it's raining, you won't even get wet as you walk because there's a skyway.
positive:
The Staff Are Friendly
Guests gave frequent feedback about how the staff went out of their way to give help whenever possible. Even when a request involved something like having to switch to a different room, accommodations were almost always handled with smiles.
Negative Reviews
negative:
The Beds Are Not Comfortable
This property has mattresses with air chambers inside them that should allow guests to alter the firmness of the beds. However, guests often said this feature did not work, and that the beds were extremely uncomfortable. In some cases, the uncomfortable beds were the only downsides for guests.
negative:
Breakfast is Too Expensive
Guests were sometimes not pleased about having to pay for breakfast. Sometimes they said they wished the breakfast were free, but even guests who chose to pay for their morning meals commented that the price was too steep for what was offered.
negative:
Frequent Hot Tub Closures
Guests often came expecting to use the hot tub and found it was out of order. If you plan to make use of this amenity, it's probably best to call the hotel beforehand to verify it's open as normal.
