Thanks to the nearby access to public transportation, it is easy to get to the hotel from Regan International Airport, which is only two stops away. You can explore the historic King Street neighbor or reach all of D.C.'s popular attractions within 20 minutes by car or about an hour by public transportation.

Guests liked the modern décor and spacious layout of the rooms, which feature such wonderful amenities as non-allergenic pillows, a fridge, black-out curtains and bathrobes.

Guests reported that the staff was friendly and professional and constantly concerned about their happiness. They tried to fulfill special requests immediately, offered detailed answers and made sure guests felt welcome.

Several guests noted that housekeeping failed to clean certain areas or exchange items, as they found stains on tables and carpets, hair on pillow cases and food crumbs in their beds. What made things worse were the lack of concern or apology on the staff's behalf when approached about these issues.

Guests found the breakfast selection to be rather limited and would have loved more fresh items to be served. They also commented that service during breakfast, lunch and dinner was slow at times with some having to remind staff of their orders.

A few guests reported that the rooms facing the back of the property were a bit noisy at times due to the trains passing by, which start their service rather early in the morning.
