An optimal spot for Melbourne. Security is superb, so you'll have no worries there. You're just steps from the tram, so everything in Melbourne is a free ride away. If you like to walk, you can easily explore DFO (directly adjacent) and/or nearby Harbour Town's cafes and nightlife - or just sit and relax waterside after a busy day and watch the boats glide in and out of the harbour onto the Yarra River. The covered parking is plentiful - free for one car per apartment (a rare find for the Docklands, and more spaces can be purchased if needed, so also very convenient.)

Be sure to ask for a harbour-facing unit. The beautiful views of the waterfront, ferris wheel and docks are quite outstanding, especially from upper floors.

The beds are cosy, the apartments are substantial and the furnishings are adequate. Not quite luxury accommodations, but you'll find most of what you need and you'll definitely have enough space - especially in the family units!

If you're staying during the winter months, you might consider bringing along an extra blanket or even a space heater if you've got one. Some units' heaters take a long time to warm up and others never quite get to maximum warmth.

Check on the hours for on-site front desk reception and be sure to get the specifics on the not-so-handy hotline number for off-hours assistance. If you need anything after 5:00 p.m., you may be out of luck without it.

Although the Wi-Fi is excellent with a strong, consistent connection, you'll need to pay extra for it. There's a weekly rate; get clarification at time of booking if you'll need internet for your stay.
