Positive Reviews
positive:
Excellent customer service
Previous guests were by and large thrilled with the customer service they received from the employees at Hampton Inn & Suites Valdosta-Conference Center. Every member of the staff they encountered, from the housekeepers to the front desk agents, were friendly and personable, without sacrificing professionalism.
positive:
The rooms are perfectly clean
It was clear to nearly everyone who stayed here that the housekeeping department deserved a shout out. All of the guest rooms and the common areas of the hotel are kept spotless, and they were well maintained throughout their stay.
positive:
Don't skip the breakfast
Most guests were very happy with the complimentary breakfast buffet. They loved that they had a nice selection of hot items like biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, and make-you-own waffles and appreciated that everything was fresh and hot.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Some of the rooms are noisey
Previous guests who had the misfortune of staying in rooms that were situated near the Interstate were rather bothered by the amount of traffic noise that lifted in. In some cases, guests reported that the sound of cars prevented them from getting to sleep at night.
negative:
It's a little hard to find
Many guests experienced some trouble finding the hotel. Most of them chose to turn into the parking lot next to the sign for the hotel, which, as it turns out, is not actually the hotel's parking lot. Guests are advised to instead turn when they see the sign for the conference center.
negative:
It can get crowded
The hotel is a popular spot for conference attendees. As such, it is sometimes overrun with name tag wearing masses, and transient nightly guests sometimes did not appreciate getting lost in the crowd. In particular, they said the breakfast room can get rather overrun, and they had trouble finding a table sometimes.
