Guests rave about the hotel's convenient location, noting that there are several fast food and casual dining restaurants within walking distance, with more upscale options within a very short drive and lots of shopping close by as well. The hotel also offers a short commute to Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and MCAS New River.

The front desk staff have received many rave reviews for their friendly, informative, and professional customer service. Any issues and special requests are generally resolved quickly and cheerfully, and many guests are pleased to report "above and beyond" gestures of hospitality. The complimentary coffee and cookies in the lobby are also well appreciated.

Guests generally describe the rooms as very clean, well maintained, and spacious, with comfortable beds.
