Parking across the street..
Though the hotel has a few spaces right outside the entrance, most of the parking available is in a garage across the street, for a nightly fee. A few guests found this arrangement very inconvenient.
negative:
Noisy nights for some..
A few guests found the air conditioning too noisy for a good night's rest, or else were disturbed by the sounds of nearby construction or other street noise.
negative:
There's no pool..
Some guests are disappointed that the Hampton Inn Baton Rouge Downtown does not offer a pool, though many note that the fitness area is well equipped.
