The hotel enjoys a central location in downtown Baltimore and it is a fantastic point from which to explore Baltimore and everything that it has to offer such as the National Aquarium, Baltimore Soundstage, USS Torsk and USS Constellation at the harbour and a great deal more besides with many bars and restaurants also within very easy walking distance.

There is lots to choose from for breakfast with a wide range of cooked food available and also a cold option such as fresh fruit and pastries in addition to hot drinks and juices. The staff working in the breakfast room work hard to tidy up after guests and always replenish food so there is more than enough for everybody with different foods rotated daily so no two days are the same and best of all it is complimentary.

Even when the hotel gets very busy with guests the staff always maintain a calm approach and are still friendly, hospitable and welcoming with many mentioned by name for their faultless customer service at all times.

A handful of previous guests have reported that there were bedbugs in rooms which left them bitten and also that bed linen was dirty with hair from previous guests on sheets and on pillows.

The gym has very limited facilities with only a few cardio machines and no free weights available and the room is very small meaning that there is really only enough space for a couple of people to be in there, however it is possible to use the facilities of a sister hotel which is nearby.

Parking is expensive and the main reason for guests' disappointment is that the charges are not advertised beforehand so it is advisable to confirm any charges in advance of your stay.
