Hotel Hampton Inn Dulles/Cascades (Sterling, USA)

Guests reported that the hotel had a shuttle not just to/from Dulles Airport, but that went to nearby shopping and entertainment areas as well. Many found that they could have a very decent stay without hiring a car or taking a lot of expensive taxis.

One of the first things guests mentioned in their reviews was how wonderful the staff were. They had praise for both the front desk staff and others. They were described as having the temperament and skills so critical in the hospitality industry, but so often lacking.

This hotel features one of Hampton Inn’s newer design schemes. Guests did not fail to notice this, and were overwhelming complimentary, saying that the design of both the rooms and public areas was trendy, but also quite practical and comfortable.

A number of guests mentioned not thinking very much of the breakfast offered by the hotel. The main complaint seemed to be that it lacked variety, causing many guests to get bored with it rather quickly.

Guests mentioned that they could sometimes hear noise from both adjacent rooms and the hallway, concluding that the rooms were not well soundproofed. The sound of the ice machine in the hallway, for guests near one, was a particular problem.

Although right off the freeway, guests mention that the hotel is somewhat obscured by other buildings. Also, they did not feel it was well signposted from the road. As a result, some had some difficulty finding it initially.
