There is a lovely trail across the road from the hotel that’s great for taking a romantic walk or participating in a bit of outdoor exercise. It adds a bit of nature to the surroundings too.

Besides the decent breakfast, there are a number of good dining choices in the area. For example, there is a BBQ joint in the mall in back of the Texas Roadhouse, another great dining choice near the hotel. A Walmart is ten-minutes away by car and if you need accommodations near the university, this place will be ideal.

You will find the hotel reasonably clean and rooms spacious and modern. The pool is a nice size and there’s plenty of parking. Expect nice goodies like chocolate chip cookies at nighttime, a choice of fresh water, and a variety of mints and berries.

There’s no need for much detail here, it’s straightforward. The Wi-Fi is slow and an Internet connection is almost impossible.

The hotel towels are tacky to say the least. There’s nothing worse than taking a shower and drying off with a towel that won’t even fit half of your body, regardless of your size! The towels are thin, rough, off-color, and more grayish than whitish.
