If you can imagine watching the sun set with a sun downer at the end of a busy day of local sightseeing, then Hale Kai O Kihei will be the ideal location. Many guests book here each year, mostly because of the wonderful views.

You don't even need your vehicle with you once you have checked in, and most guests enjoy the fact that there are so many great shops within an easy walk. You will find unique gift shops and an array of restaurants within close proximity, while the beach is right across the street.

Almost all visitors said that the kitchen at Hale Kai O Kihei was one of the best stocked kitchens they had seen while on vacation. The utensils are top class, and there is no excuse for not preparing a great meal while you are here.

Although many guests enjoyed their stay here, some visitors felt that an upgrade would go a far. Some wall paper is reported to be peeling in places, while the linen is a little worn in areas. Some of the bathrooms could also do with a deep clean and shine.

Some visitors had some trouble seeing well with only one light in each room, while others felt the bulbs that were used had a low voltage. Guests suggested that brighter light bulbs be installed, and more lamps made available in the rooms.

For those who like a long hot shower, you might be disappointed that guests said the hot water ran out way too quickly. The capacity of the geyser is small, so your shower had better be quick if you don't want a cold one.
