A number of guests brought their dogs along on their vacation. They were unanimous in saying that both they and their pets were treated exceptionally well by the hotel and its staff. There were even doggie treats for their best friends on check in. They definitely felt that they were truly welcome, rather than merely tolerated as a matter of policy.

They said that the outlook over the ocean inlet was not only very tranquil and beautiful, but much more importantly, offered amazing leisure options. Most guests traveling in the summer couldn’t spend enough time on the water, either in one of the hotel’ paddle boats or their own boat.
Going by guest reviews, it seems that this hotel is family run. Guests felt that the staff here were very engaged and always willing to go the extra miles for their guests. They attributed this to its small and cozy nature and it not being part of a large hotel chain.
There is no onsite dining at the hotel, and it was reported that there really weren’t any suitable restaurants within walking distance. Eating out would likely involve a trip to Falmouth.
