Charming rural location, good for dogs
Set against the dramatic backdrop of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, this bed & breakfast property - located on a working farm - was a little slice of country idyll. Guests were absolutely charmed by the location here, which put them in easy reach of a number of local attractions as well as a host of good restaurants, cafés and tea rooms. Additionally, many visitors were pleased to find that this property is very dog-friendly, with a number reporting that their four-legged friends were rather reluctant to leave at the end of their stays.

A warm welcome
Those arriving at this property were gratified to be given a warm, hearty welcome - and more often than not, a cup of tea - by one of this property's owners, who also turned out to be very knowledgeable with local directions and information. This greeting made for a nice touch and started guests' stays off on a very positive note.

Nice breakfast, stocked kitchens
Food-wise, guests here could self-cater or opt for a B&B-style service. Those in the latter category found that the breakfasts - cooked to order - were fabulous while those who went self-catering were happy to find their kitchens stocked with high-quality basics.
