Although some have complained that the subways are some distance from the accommodation, most previous guests have been in agreement that the Gracie Inn is conveniently located. The inn is a short walk from Central Park and many museums, restaurants, shops and other attractions. Furthermore, the neighborhood in which the inn is situated is generally considered safe and quiet.

While there have been some grievances about the lack of sufficient utensils and the condition of the appliances, a number of former visitors were pleased that a kitchenette was included with their room.

From the air conditioning/heating not working sufficiently to the worn down and uncomfortable beds, many former guests at the Gracie Inn have lambasted the condition of the rooms.
