Hotel Globo (Split, Croatia)

Guests were very complimentary with regards to the overall hygiene levels at the hotel stating that their rooms were spotless and kept clean and tidy by the housekeeping for the duration of their stay. Many were pleasantly surprised by the generous size of their accommodation and also appreciated the equally spacious bathrooms.

Many said that they felt very well looked after during their stay and appreciated the efforts of the staff to make them feel comfortable and at ease, The front desk staff offered helpful advice to guests with regards to the local area and often went the extra mile when it came to assisting them with their various queries and requests.

The hotel is a short walk away from the city centre yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle meaning that guests could enjoy peaceful and quiet evenings. Those who did not want to walk to the local attractions and amenities found it very convenient being given a free lift in the hotel’s electric car.

There is no restaurant on the premises meaning that guests have to leave the hotel in order to find somewhere to eat. Whish quite a few found rather cumbersome. Guests also said that they would have liked to have a bar as well as a lounge on-site.

The area surrounding the hotel has been described as rather drab which meant that guests who were expecting scenic views were left rather disappointed. Those whose rooms were located in the basement objected to the lack of natural light.

Those who wanted to spend their free time watching TV in their rooms were disappointed to find that the flat-screens were rather on the small side.
