A stone's throw from Karasuma-Oike metro station (where the Tozai and the Karasuma lines meet) and within a comfortable stroll of must-see places like Nishiki Market, the Gosho and Nijo-jo Castle; it's no wonder most visitors raved about this hotel's location. Being so close to the Teramachi district with its myriad restaurants and shopping opportunities is also considered a big plus.

The vast majority of visitors really appreciated that, as well as being highly efficient and amiable; the receptionists here will quite happily do things like Google addresses and print maps (and directions) for guests. Ask nicely and they'll even flag down taxis in the street and tell the driver where you want to go!

A great many guests have observed that the general standard of cleanliness within this hotel is very impressive indeed.

Many couples staying at this hotel have been disappointed by the lack of space provided in the hotel's super-compact double rooms. Some visitors travelling in twos have deemed twin rooms a better option as they afford more in the way of space.

Very few guests appreciated the fact that it is hard to escape the smell of smoke within this hotel.
