The hotel is located in a central location within walking distance of major attractions in San Antonio like The Alamo and The Riverwalk. There are also plenty of places to eat out and to shop without having to use the car. Many guests enjoyed themselves without having to worry about how to get to these places.

The hardwood oak floors and colorful decorations and furnishings were not left unnoticed by guests who stayed here. They found these touches to be very tasteful and bring out the beauty of the hotel as a whole. The hotel itself is a historical building built within the proximity of The Alamo.

The guests who visited with a car were a bit disappointed to learn the hotel had no free parking available. The parking lots offers parking for a fee and the hotel offers a valet parking for a bigger charge.

Thanks to the hardwood flooring throughout the rooms and halls, some guests found the noise of their footsteps to be too loud. Some of the a/c units were also found to be loud that the units had to be shut down to get any sleep.

People who needed a handicap access room were given normal rooms, which made it difficult for people with wheelchairs or difficult time to move around to do simple movements. There were no shower chairs or bars to hold on to and the bed was too high for people to get into the beds.
