Hotel Gatlinburg Inn (Gatlinburg, USA)

It's lovely to just chill out in one of the rocking chairs on the porch, or to snuggle up in front of a gas fire. The whole building is very clean and comfortable and offers a nice ambience in which to spend some time.

Gatlinburg Inn is in a really excellent location. You can walk to pretty much anywhere you need to go. There is shopping very nearby and lots of great places to eat in the immediate vicinity. Anywhere in the downtown area is a comfortable journey on foot.

The breakfast at this hotel is impressive. There is a large selection of items from which to choose and all of them are well presented and taste nice.

Because Gatlinburg Inn is quite an old building, the sound insulation isn't the best. If you are staying on the ground floor you will probably hear footsteps from the people in the room above you. Also, the walls feel fairly thin, so you may hear everything that is going on in neighboring rooms as well.

Some of the bathrooms at this hotel are very much on the small side. There isn't a huge amount of room to move around. Also, the water pressure in the shower is rather too weak to be enjoyable.

The parking situation is a little limited. The parking lot is rather compact and there is only one entrance and exit, which can make things a little congested if more than one vehicle is trying to move around in there.
