About Gallery Lodge
The Gallery Lodge is located in the wilderness of Alaska, right along the Kasilof River and right in the middle of numerous fishing, hiking, and wildlife watching opportunities.
There are six rooms at this lodge, with each having a refrigerator, a microwave, a DVD player, and satellite television channels. Rooms come with their own coffee makers, as well.
Amenities at this property include laundry machines, shared bathrooms, and use of the lodge's common areas. The hosts will help with booking fishing and outdoor adventure tours, upon request.
A complimentary breakfast is served by the hosts every morning at the Gallery Lodge. Guests can take food from the fully stocked refrigerator in the lodge's kitchen, as well. Numerous restaurants can be found in Soldotna, which 20 minutes away.

Most guests of this property have commented that the hosts are extremely friendly and will go out of their way to ensure that you are enjoying your stay. Having the owners on site all the time made them easily accessible and made sure that guests had everything that they needed.

There is a fully stocked refrigerator that guests will have access to throughout their stay and this has been appreciated. Although many guests choose to explore the outdoors while staying there, food is available throughout the day for guests who stay close.

Right on the Kasilof River
Many guests have loved this property's location, as it sits right along the Kasilof River in the Alaskan wilderness. The property's location allowed guests to do some fishing or hiking without having to venture too far from their shelter.

Shared bathrooms
Past guests haven't been too fond of the shared bathrooms at this property. While it isn't always a problem, it can be difficult to get into the bathroom when the property is at capacity.

Wilderness cabin isn't the same
The majority of the rooms at this property are close to the main lodge, but when the property is fully booked, there is an overflow cabin that is about a mile away in the wilderness. Guests who have ended up in this cabin haven't been happy with their accommodations.

There have been complaints about the lack of windows in the rooms at this property. Guests would have preferred to be able to enjoy the views from their rooms.
