Hotel Galatia's Court (Paphos, Cyprus)

What immediately impressed a number of visitors was the large size of the apartments. For many this was a pleasant surprise since they were clearly expecting a much smaller place at the room rate they paid.

Despite some concerns about the location, for practical reasons, guests did say that the property's position at a bit of an elevation, and inland, resulted in lovely views over the town of Paphos and the Mediterranean.

A number of guests specifically mentioned that they were very happy with the state of cleanliness of the apartment on check-in, even if they sometimes considered the décor and facilities to be a bit basic.

Considering the number of comments about air conditioning, it seems the air conditioning in the apartments is insufficient to properly cool them in summer. Guests have also mentioned their units being broken. All in all, it resulted in a warmer apartment than ideally desired.

While the property is close to the Old Town, it's quite far from the beach and new part of town. Guests mention that others without their own car would feel a bit isolated, and have limited dining and entertainment options within walking distance.

This is a fairly small property, run by owners who live on-site. While they are always contactable by telephone, they are not always physically on-site to check-in and otherwise assist guests.
