Hotel Forville (Cannes, France)

Guests highly rate the location of this hotel, saying it is pretty much in the best spot in Cannes. The hotel is on a quiet street, but by the same token it is very central, with everything you want only a short stroll away. Good restaurants are just around the corner, while the shopping area and beach are just minutes away.

When coming in from the street for the first time, guests are surprised but pleased to find a pretty courtyard garden. They say it is a nice place to enjoy your breakfast on a morning, and is a place where children can play safely while parents can sit and relax with a drink at any time.

Guests say that the staff are welcoming and friendly. They are incredibly helpful, so if you need assistance they will go above and beyond what is would normally be expected.

The rooms at the hotel do not have air-conditioning. Bearing in mind this is a hotel in the south of France, during the summer months this would be appreciated by most guests.

Guests do say that they find the rooms, and bathrooms, to be a bit small. However, they also say that they are clean and tidy and that they have everything they need for their trip, so they still enjoy a comfortable stay.

The hotel is in an old building and appears to be a bit worn in places. Guests do not feel this detracts from the hotel a great deal, saying that it is quaint and the staff make it cosy, but it would benefit from some updating.
