Hotel Flamingo Inn (Daytona Beach, USA)

Accommodations are cozy and informal. The property is small, so you don't have to be concerned with too many strangers running about. The room amenities work well, the showers are hot and have good pressure too. You feel like you are in your own private paradise.

The staff are congenial and attentive. You can't ask for more really. The hotel is right on the beach so it's easy to venture back and forth to your room. The pool area is fantastic and kids just love the area.

The landscaping is lovely. It's different from other resorts you might come across because it is not surrounded by concrete and you don't have to cross a busy road in order to get to the beach. It's unique in a way, as all the rooms are right on the beach. It's Malibu on a budget.

What's up with the housekeeping? It seems that they never come to clean the room and you have to consistently ask for fresh towels.

The door locking system is not adequate. With the wear-and-tear on the premises, doors don't shut properly. Of course, this may not be with all room doors. You may not reach a comfortable level of safety if the doors do not lock properly.

The kitchenette would come in handy if it were better equipped. It's not stocked with cookware and silverware, which makes it somewhat useless.
