By far the aspect that was most praised, the location is described as ideal for both sightseeing and business. The proximity to embassies was also mentioned as a positive feature. The British Embassy is just 900 yards up the road.

While it did surprise many of them, several guests report the Wi-Fi connection as being particularly good. Some did concede that their expectations may well have been low, but in any event these were far exceeded. Most guests seemed quite satisfied with their connections.

Though many guests also liked to eat out, they said that the food offered at the hotel was of a high standard. The breakfast especially, was raised for being both ample and very tasty.

By far the most expressed negative sentiment, a majority of guests did not really feel they received good value. While many concede that it might be difficult for the hotel to operate in an environment of sanctions, they still believe both hat the prices are too high, and that there are small things that could easily be improved whatever the current political environment.

Several guests report that the air conditioners in their room didn't work properly, or sometimes at all. Especially for guests from cooler climates this could be a major irritant.

Some guests were unsure whether to declare that, to them, the room décor was dated or over the top. In any event, it was not to their taste. Guests who like minimalism and understatement would probably not be happy at this hotel.
